Special Issues
Special issues:
A. A special issue may be dedicated to a specific thematic. In this case a prominent guest editor should be responsible to invite articles, the number of which should not exceed 15. Invited manuscripts should be submitted via the journals’ platform and undergo evaluation by peer review.
B. A special issue may include the proceedings of a scientific event (Symposium/Conference). In this case The Scientific Committee of the scientific event together with members of the editorial board of ‘Pharmakeftiki’ are responsible for article submission which should follow certain restrictions: i) Invited lectures should not extend six manuscript pages, plus up to two Figures and up to two Tables. ii) Oral communications should not extend four manuscript pages, plus one Figure and one Table. Both invited lectures and oral communications manuscripts should be submitted through the journals’ platform and will undergo peer review. iii) Posters should cover two pages of extended abstracts, plus one Figure or one Table. They should be sent by e-mail to the members of Scientific Committee/Editorial Board specifically charged with this task.
The same author should not submit more than two manuscripts of either type.
Special issues do not interrupt the flowchart of the journal. They are labeled with ‘s’ after the Arabic number of the previous issue e.g ‘1s’ stands for a special issue published after issue ‘1’.
